Most areas require 3-5 treatments applied at 4-6 week intervals to achieve optimal results. Long-term results depend on multiple factors, such as hair thickness, the area treated, and the hair’s growth cycle. Hair grows in three stages – Forever Bare predominantly treats hairs in the active growth phase. Since not all hairs are in the same growth phase at the same time, multiple treatments are necessary to target all hair in the targeted area(s).

Treatments are comfortable and safe. A clear gel will be applied to the skin. Then, BBL energy is delivered with a cooled applicator so there is minimal or no discomfort. During the treatment, some patients experience a warm or stinging sensation. Personal sensitivity varies from patient to patient and with the area being treated. Your eyes will be protected with safety glasses, similar to those used in tanning beds.
 

Treatment time varies depending on size of the area(s) being treated and your hair type. Typically, a smaller area takes only a few minutes while a larger area may take 15-30 minutes. Forever Bare treatments have essentially no downtime and you can resume your normal activities immediately. 
What happens after the treatment? You may experience mild redness in the treated area that should do away within a few hours. A few days to a week after the treatment you may experience what seems to be a regrowth of hair. Most of these hairs are actually being shed as a result of your Forever Bare treatment and are not growing back.
