Sculptra works with your body to stimulate collagen production lost to aging, rebuilding and reinforcing your skin’s structural foundation. Through a series of treatments, typically about three sessions over a few months, it restores the support and volume of youthful looking skin, providing results that can last up to two years.
The results from Sculptra are not immediate; Sculptra provides a gradual increase in skin thickness by stimulating your skin to increase collagen production. Results can typically start to be seen approximately 6-8 weeks after injection. This is an in-office procedure that we inject to the face or body just below your skin level and deep to the muscles.
An initial treatment may consist of one or more vials, depending on treatment area and severity of volume loss. You will return to our office for re-evaluation in approximately 6 weeks. At that time, we will discuss if additional injections are needed or wanted for desired results. Sculptra is also frequently used in combination with dermal fillers for facial rejuvenation. Sculptra consist of Poly- L-Lactic Acid, which is a synthetic polymer that has been used in human body since 1960 and as medical suture material from 1970.
Sculptra is a dermal filler that stimulates collagen growth in the skin. Traditionally, it has been used to restore lost facial volume, but recently it has also been used to add volume and definition to the buttocks region. The Sculptra butt lift allows you to add roundness or fullness to a butt that has a flat appearance. Since no fat transfer or implants are involved, your treatment doesn’t require surgery.
